I'm Lou Bowers, a contemporary British abstract artist, and the Kent coastline is my constant muse. Its drama, its restlessness, its extraordinary colour. I've spent years trying to capture it.
My work is bold and textured, layered with the luminous energy I feel standing at the water's edge or at low tide. Each piece is made with a single intention: to carry that feeling into your home — the tranquillity, the vitality, the quiet sense of space.
My paintings are collected worldwide, and what I hear again and again is that they change a room. Not just visually but in how it feels to be in it.
